YES ELECTRONICS

I think that electronics should stay because there are many good uses for them. You can use ipods and iphones as a calculator a planner and would be vey usful to cut down the use of paper.But there are certain rules that should apply like:
Notexting during class
no playing games during class
no taking pictures of others without permission
and many more.

We Are Silent!!

The WE ARE SILENT campaign started in 2004 and was made by Second Cup. The purpose of this campaign is to be silence for those who don't have a voice! We also raise money. If we raise.... then we can.....

$50-provide classroom supplies for a school.

$100-give a family clean drinking water.

$500-fund a two-month lunch program for a school.

$1000-provide teacher training programs in Free The Children schools.

$5000-support the building of a community well.

$8500-can build a school or a school room.

I think this campaign will be very successful because we already raised around $300.00 and tens and thousands of people are silent as well. o if everyone gave a dollar in we would have so much money that could go towards me 2 we! I think this is a very good idea!

This podcast is my favorite because the speakers were 4 and 5 year olds and they speak really well and they don't sound like kindergartens. They are soo smart!!!I wish I was like them and i also really liked the fact that they  gave the kindergarteners a chance to speak.
And i'm really happy we have a blog because I wouldn't be able to do my work if we didn't.Thanks Kathy!

What is my favourite book?
My favourite book is The Summoning. Its an awsome book you will not want to stop reading which is what happened in my case. Since this is a series I got addicted to the books and I wish I could read more. This book is also a lit circle book so if you would like to read it just ask kathy she'll probably let you read it for the next lit circles.The reason i loved this book is because they're were so many surprises in the book I always predicted something in my reading responce but it was something more epic that always happened. I would totally recommend this book for grades 6,7 and 8 because its probably an appropriate book for these grades and its not to long but for grade 5 it maybe. This book is awsome and the rest of the series. If you would like a book review I have one that I did for writers workshop.

What do you think will be the value of this blogging project?
I think the value of this blogging project will be connecting with others in our class and to use technology to submit homework like we would do in highschool.

Do you think it is something you will keep up with after we've finnished working on it at school?
i may not, because i may have other homework and i think its a bit complicated but i'll probably get used to it. If I have time I may!
